Islam Elfiky is an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at HOF Capital. His startup is MedsNow, an on-demand delivery service that delivers medications directly from local independent pharmacies.
Islam also co-founded Squash on Fire, a startup that makes the sport of squash accessible, coachable and fun for everyone. He is also the Chief Business Development Officer at Alayada, a contract-based healthcare diagnostic center that operates out of Egypt, catering to the GCC region. In addition, Islam is a board member at Al Nasr, a specialized hospital in East Cairo.
Previously, Islam worked at EFG Hermes in Cairo as an Institutional Brokerage Intern, as well as at Paradigm Spine as a Business Intern and at Viscogliosi Brothers, a healthcare New York City-based fund specializing in venture capital, private equity and merchant banking for the neuromusculoskeletal industry.
Islam holds a B.A. in Economics from George Washington University. He was a member of the George Washington Varsity Squash Team and was a key contributor in increasing the team’s national ranking from 34th to 16th in the nation.
